Dear Parents and Guardians,
Greetings from John Orr Engineering School of Specialisation.
We wish to inform you that the formal final examinations for all grades are commencing. As part of our commitment to academic excellence, we appeal to all parents and guardians to support their children during this important period by ensuring that they prepare adequately and approach their examinations with discipline, commitment and confidence.
Please take note of the following important information:
1. FINALEXAMINATIONSANDPREPARATION
All learners received their examination timetables electronically last week. Today, hard copies were also issued to learners.
Parents and guardians are requested to assist learners in preparing for their examinations by:
Ensuring that learners follow their examination timetables and allocate sufficient time to study each subject.
 Pasting the examination timetable on a wall or in another visible place at home where it can be checked daily.
 Checking that learners have all the necessary examination stationery, including blue pens, pencils, rulers, erasers and any other materials required for their subjects.
 Ensuring that learners use clear, transparent pencil cases during examinations. Non transparent pencil cases will not be permitted in the examination venues.
 Encouraging learners to maintain a positive attitude, observe examination rules and arrive at school on time on the days they are scheduled to write.
